We look forward to spending more time in the Riverside in the future, we’ve planned the Santa visit with the 2 boys already.

We had the best time at our wedding! I couldn’t fault anything! The staff are just amazing, everything was seamless. The organisation of the team on the day and night was amazing! Andrea and Liz are absolute gems, they make the whole process from booking the wedding to checking out the next day such an enjoyable process.. There was never a moment where I didn’t feel like I was being looked after by my family. Can I also just say a massive thank you for helping my brother Martin live out his MCing dream, I know he was glad of Andrea’s expertise!

From the minute we went to view the venue we instantly knew it was the one for us. Liz was so welcoming and professional, no question or concern was left unanswered. Throughout the whole planning process any query I had or email I sent was answered instantly and she was absolutely incredible, also providing some amazing advice & ideas for the day.

They day of our wedding the venue was stunning, and all the staff are a credit to the hotel. The day before our wedding I had to change the table plan and it was done instantly, no questions asked. Everything I had requested for the day was picture perfect. The service was second to none, all our guests raved about the food which was incredible and the decor of the room was breathtaking. It was everything we wished for & more.

I just wanted to pop you a mail to say the biggest thank you for all the work done to celebrate our big day. We had the best day, and weekend of our lives. From our first meeting I knew we were in safe hands but I was blown away with how everything looked on Saturday. It was everything we could have asked for and more. We had our wedding here on 27th October 2023 and from the first meet with Liz Fagan in March 2022 we knew this was the perfect place. Liz is an exceptional person, her communication skills are second to none, any questions or queries she was always on the ball. Then we dealt with Megan who is over in the reservations department. This girl is another hidden gem to this wonderful hotel, again any questions I had or anything needed to be changed she was always willing and very pleasant to deal with.

The day we checked in which was the 26th of October there was a good group of us, from the food in the bar to the breakfast the next morning everyone was complimenting staff as if it was too good to be true. Correct me if I’m wrong, Kyle the porter could have not done anymore for us the WHOLE weekend. He was just always there when we needed (amazing)! Then we met Andrea, another woman without a second thought, fantastic! This woman knows her stuff and is a truly genuinely nice person all round, We had misplaced a champagne glass that we had done for our daughter for our breakfast toast with her initials on it and Andrea went and got us another one especially made that looked exactly the same. The breakfast arrived on time and was absolutely amazing! The day couldn’t of went more perfect and can I say on time!

The feedback from everyone about the food and hotel in general was exceptional. They said “the food…it just kept coming” and they had never been to a wedding like it! This made us so happy to hear! We also had a day two in the Seamus Rafter Suite and again food and the service was amazing. They even put the rugby on a big screen for us to watch which was amazing and were delighted they asked first which was very considerate. When all our party left the Sunday, my husband and 3 children stayed the night and went for a 3 course in the restaurant, the service again was amazing. The staff in this restaurant from breakfast to dinner…WOW! Always cheerful and happy, they loved where they worked and that made us feel warm and in safe hands.

I know this is long, I could write a book on how amazing each and every single thing about this hotel was. Amazing receptionists, bar staff, porter, night porters, cleaning team, management, security, all amazing! Thanks again for having us, we really and truly had the most magical weekend and couldn’t of asked for better.

Wow, where do we even begin!

From start to finish we had the most amazing experience with you both, from early days of queries we had you answered and put us at ease straight away. From selecting the menu to decorating the room down to the exact positioning of our decor you did the perfect job. We were both so emotional walking into our dream reception room. I trust all is well back home and that things are returning to normal after the dreaded attack of Storm Frank.

This is a brief letter of thanks to yourself and all the staff in the hotel, and in particular to our wonderful wedding co-ordinator Liz Fagan.

Finding out the day before your wedding that the venue has changed would test the reliance of the strongest couple, but having to break that news to a bride and groom the day before their wedding is equally devastating; Although it was something we didn’t want to hear, it was communicated to us with the outmost integrity and as sensitive as it possibly could be, and it was clear Plan B actions were actively being pursued, which really did help to soften the blow.

Liz Fagan. What an absolute super star. It’s hard to express in words what a fantastic asset you have there; a Trojan worker; a rock of sense, and an absolute pleasure to deal with. Liz handled the ‘crisis’ so well, there was no messing around just absolute focus and determination to ensure that we were completely satisfied with the alternative venue. I’m sure behind the scenes there was a frantic panic to re-organise our wedding alone, never mind another 2 weddings in a 3 day period, but in our company she portrayed a very professional and calm approach, and endeavoured to do everything in her power to ensure we had our ‘perfect day’.

From speaking with you the day after our wedding I think you’re well aware that we had the day of our lives. It may not have been our chosen venue, but it took nothing from our day. Our guests would certainly vouch for that. The alternative venue will take the credit for this, but Pat and I are both aware that this had a lot to do with the Riverside Team and your diligent and swift response in turning things around at the last minute.

I know you’re worried about the damage the floods have done to your reputation as a winter wedding venue so we’re more than happy to write a review/testimonial for your website if you wish, or help out in any way we can. To be honest we can’t speak highly enough of your staff and the service and support we received.  Organising a wedding from Australia is obviously a little more complicated than normal but in my dealings with the hotel, from the time we expressed interest in your hotel as a perspective venue, right up until our wedding was over was just absolutely terrific.

 A lot of our dealings would have been done via email, with a significant time difference we’d have expected a delay in response, but it always marvelled us that Liz and Brenda were always back straight away to answer any queries we may have had. Pat spoke to Brenda quite a bit the day before our wedding, and she was instrumental in ensuring that all our guests were transferred over to the alternative venue. This was no easy task, especially with the power outage, but she did a great job.

Our guests remarked on how ‘lovely’ the girls were who called to transfer their bedrooms to the alternative venue. Many of them hadn’t been aware of the venue change and they were really impressed by the professional manner and the genuine regret in the girl’s voices at saying that the reception was being re-located.  Many of our friends here in Australia had also remarked on this whilst booking also, with remarks like ‘Oh fair play to you from travelling back from Australia’……and ‘Won’t it be lovely to be back for Christmas’. These may sound like little trivial things but it’s the little things that seem to separate you guys apart and above from the other hotels in Co. Wexford, and why we could rewind the clock we’d still have booked your hotel for our NYE wedding.

We thank you once again for everything you’ve done for us, and are keeping the fingers and toes crossed that the council will work on putting some proper measures in place for the next downpours!

I am finally getting around to sending you a few lines since we last spoke when Patrina and I were checking out on Wednesday 15^th of June, which seems like an age.

On behalf of both Patrina and I, I wanted to express our heartfelt thanks and appreciation to all at the Riverside Park Hotel for making our wedding celebration such a thoroughly enjoyable, memorable and fantastic occasion. We had a ball!  

Every interaction we had from yourself, the General Manager, the porters, the reception team, the restaurant manager and staff, the bar staff, the manager and teams in both functions rooms, house – keeping, the waiting staff … were all of the highest customer service standard; professional, efficient, friendly and a bit of craic.

I have lost count of the number of people who were with us that weekend who have positively commented to me on the excellence of all aspects of the service they received during their stay. Not to mention the superb value for money which is key for everyone at the moment.  I would be grateful if you would pass on this message to everyone concerned so they can receive our appreciation and thanks.

I think that was the 4^th or 5^th (close and extended) family wedding at the Riverside and we have had cause to stay there for other occasions, and every time it’s a winner. As you know, we have plenty of local family and close friend connections around Enniscorthy so be assured we will be back many times in the future.

We got married in this hotel in April of this year, we had 170 guests, which 140 roughly flew over from England. The service we all received was fantastic. We asked most of our guests about their rooms, food, staff service and we honestly had no complaints what so ever. We stayed Tuesday-Saturday and felt like royalty. All staff could not do enough for us, always checking we were ok and if everything was up to standard.

The Penthouse suite is beautiful, all the rooms we stayed in were also very clean. The food was delicious, breakfast, lunch, wedding meal, once again no one had any complaints. The wedding itself, well, we are still on a high, it was honestly the best day and went perfectly.

Andrea and her team are brilliant at what they do, we were constantly told we were in safe hands and we really were. The hotel was very accommodating to every request we had. The only downside is there wasn’t enough hours in the day and I wish I took more photos!

Would recommend anyone to stay there or get married! I cannot wait to return. Thank you to all the staff at the Riverside Park Hotel.

Me and Amy just wanted to pass on our huge thank you to you and your staff for making our wedding the best day ever. 

From beginning to the end it was amazing our guests loved the food the service they received and the rooms they stayed in. 

And for me and Amy everything was amazing we were treated like VIPs. 

The day flew by in a good way and the weather was on our side too.

Now that things have calmed down a bit we just wanted to say a massive thank you to both of you. There was nothing we could fault about the Riverside from the food, the service, the penthouse, the rooms, it was second to none and everyone was so happy to be at a big wedding again the fact that it was your biggest wedding since covid made no difference service went perfectly.

We couldn’t have wished for a better day and this was down to help of you and Liz. We will definitely be recommending the Riverside to any couple getting married.

Now that things have settled a bit for us we just wanted to say a massive thank you to you both for all your help in the lead up to our wedding and on the day itself. We couldn’t fault anything from the food, the service, the bedrooms, the Christmas decorations, the function room on the day and any other small things.

Everything was perfect and we both really appreciate everything you did for both of us. In particular, I was so happy to have our wedding in Riverside as none of Brendan’s family had ever been to the hotel before and they all spoke so highly of it too. So massive fair play on that and I think they’re still raving about it all.

No doubt we’ll be in around the hotel again soon and we’ll see you then in person.

I just wanted to send a quick message to let you know how happy myself and Jay were with the exceptional service we received from you and all staff involved in our wedding.

We were not surprised at how well everything went on the day as we have attended many fantastic weddings in the hotel but we were so overwhelmed by how relaxing and enjoyable the whole experience was made for us and how smooth the day went.

The food, room, staff and atmosphere were second to none and all my family from abroad who hadn’t stayed in the hotel before were so happy with everything. There was nothing to fault.

I have given a review on Tripadvisor and I will be recommending the Riverside to all my friends planning their wedding.

We just wanted to say thank you for everything over the last few months. The day went so smooth. We are delighted we chose Riverside Park for our venue. Everyone commented on how tasty the food was and how much food there was. And everyone talked about how well the place looked and that the decor was gorgeous. Being able to do the video as part of Paul’s speech was brilliant. everyone was in tears. And being able to have the silent disco was just fantastic..people are still talking about it.

We will highly recommend the hotel to any other couples planning their wedding. It was a pleasure to deal with everyone. The staff were all so obliging and courteous.

We would love to thank each and everyone that had anything to do with our wedding on Friday the 14th of June, whether you clean the loos, made the dinner, served it washed up. Every job counts. As Liz knows I’m a fuzz pot over everything as I worked in hotels myself but we couldn’t have asked for more. Everyone commented on the food, service, cleanliness etc it’s outstanding. Hospitality certainly isn’t the easiest of trades but nothing went unnoticed. You’re a great team and thanks for everything.

What can I say about our wedding Saturday it was just amazing the hotel and staff are beyond amazing! Every little thing was perfect the food was gorgeous all the staff went out of their way and beyond for us they really are fantastic. Liz Fagen, Andrea, Jordan, Jim Maher and Barry I have to say are so so helpful professional and just genuine nice people. Im so happy we had our wedding here and I cant recommend it enough! I just wanted to say thank you for everything you and the riverside staff did for my wedding day. It really was wonderful. All my family & friends that flew over from England thought the hotel was lovely. The food on my wedding day was delicious and some of the best I’ve tasted, my whole day was a dream. The rooms and breakfast in the morning were brilliant. Thank you so much again. My mum is already planning on our year anniversary get together in Ireland at the Riverside. Thank you so much again.

My husband and I had the most amazing, magical time at our wedding and we cannot compliment you enough, never for a second did I feel rushed, everything was thought out and ran smoothly and I was made feel at ease with some words of encouragement from your staff at any nervous moments. We got a 5 star wedding, décor was so tasteful and light, service was flawless and the food was impeccable, enjoyed by all. Nothing was too much trouble. We would highly recommend the riverside park hotel. We had such an amazing wedding from start to finish. All the hotel staff work so hard, nothing was too much trouble. I loved how it felt like we were the only wedding to be held there. I felt all the staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble.

The food was amazing and the function room was decorated lovely. All our guests enjoyed their stay and are planning a return visit. We had an amazing day and would highly recommend this hotel to future brides and grooms.

We honestly can’t put in words how happy we are that we chose The Riverside Park Hotel as our wedding venue. Liz and all the staff could not have been more helpful in the run up to and the day of the wedding.

I never felt like any question or worry was too annoying and every single one of those silly worries that all brides have in the run up to the big day, table plans etc. melted away after a phone call or email to Liz, I was definitely not the most organised bride and not quite sure we would have pulled it off without Liz and the team 🙂

We didn’t have to worry about anything at all on the day e.g. I forgot to put entrance music on usb and one quick word to Liz and everything was sorted.

I had no worries at all that our guests would have any problems or not enjoy their day which allowed us to relax and enjoy it ourselves.

We really felt like royalty on the day every member of staff treated us so well and I loved the little touches such as making sure we went up to the room and took a breath to take it all in whilst the guests were being seated for dinner.

It really was one of the best days of our lives and our guests raved about the food and service for weeks after especially the beef!

The only downside to it all was after being treated like royalty it was hard to get back to reality and the amazing penthouse has kind of ruined other hotels for us now and given me notions!

Everything was done to perfection. The service and staff were amazing. The whole experience from beginning to end was fantastic, from planning, to tasting, to wedding day, the treatment of our guests and their over night – they all raved about service value for money and the food- and the day after.

Liz was outstanding on a personal note and her other coordinator on the day (sorry name slips me) and seeing Jim touch base with us to ensure our satisfaction was great. Wonderful experience and attention to detail was second to none.

Hard to believe that 6 months since we married and it was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The service was fantastic and everything was on time and very quick. The food was amazzzzinnng! I loved brie and it was delicious.  You were so lovely, professional and nothing was too much trouble you were so easy to deal with you made the whole experience so enjoyable.

 For the bar staff who I am sure were run off their feet all night by our thirsty guests, they were brilliant and they were so polite and friendly to everyone.

Liz went through every detail about the venue and by the end of our meeting we were sold. Liz was so helpful throughout the whole run up to the wedding.
